Satisfy Your Sweet Cravings at Snow Shack Davao

July 26, 2017 0 Comments
A new dessert shop just opened last month and we recently had the chance to taste their creamy shaved ice desserts last week. Snow Shack's shaved ice creams are smooth and creamy which are topped with different flavor toppings, fresh fruits and a generous scoop of ice cream...

Snow Shack is the perfect place to satisfy your sweet cravings, they offer a generous amount of their shaved ice desserts which is good for sharing with your good friends, family or special someone.

The snow shaved ice cream that I've tried are all good, creamy, and the sweetness is just right for my taste. There's an extra condense milk on the side for those who want it to be sweeter, perfect for those who have really sweet tooth. I love that they've added layers of fresh fruits in each layer of their shaved ice desserts makes it more tasty.

Here are some of the Snow Ice Cream that we've tasted at Snow Shack...

DFAT 2017 - Saging Repablik

April 21, 2017 0 Comments
Saging Repablik is a great place to hangout with friends and family.  They serve different kinds of food with a twist of banana in it... Their Humbananacue and Spare Ribs with Banana BBQ Sauce is a must try, the meat is so tender and tasty. And you gotta try their best-sellers too which is the Pork and Chicken Sisag  and the different flavors of Gatchips. What I really love is their Banana Walnut Torte, it's sooo delicious..

If you're fond of DIY, you can try their  "Create your own bananacue", they have a station where you can make your own banana with chocolate fondue in different kind of toppings. You can share your creations afterwards on social media with the hashtags: #createyourownbananacue, #sagingrepablik and #mysagingrepablikbananacue.

It was my first time to visit and dine at Saging Repablik and I had a great time with fellow bloggers from Manila, Cebu, General Santos and Davao during the Davao Food Appreciation Tour.

To sum up our experience at Saging Repablik, watch this video below... ;)

Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp

July 10, 2014 0 Comments
If there's one restaurant that I love and would love to recommend, it's non other than Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp. It's not that expensive and you'll get really satisfied for what you've paid for.

The first time I've tried their food was way back in year 2008 and from that moment, I kept on craving for their dishes and most especially their pastries. I personally loved their Durian Cheesecake and Sans Rival.

Durian Cheesecake

Classic Sans Rival and

Durian Sans Rival

I wouldn't miss those two whenever I'm at Lachi's, al though sometimes the durian cheesecake which is their best seller by the way, is not available or it's all consumed. I guess a lot of people really love it and I am just one of them. ;)

Here are some of Lachi's delectable home-cooked meals:

The Unforgettable Grilled Pork Ribs is one of their best sellers too, it's meat is tender and absolutely delicious. When you've tasted this dish, you would know why it is named Unforgettable Grilled Pork Ribs, because you would never forget it for its flavorful taste.

Have you heard of Pork Marina? I've heard of Seafood Marinara but it's my first time to hear about Pork Marinara at Lachi's. It's a spaghetti with cheese and tomato sauce, topped with crunchy breaded pork strips. It is one of the dishes that I also loved at Lachi's, well I actually love most of their dishes, lol. :)

If you're looking for a healthy meal, the Breaded Soft Tofu with Teriyaki sauce is best for you.

Elsie's melt-in-your-mouth roast pork is also a must try. It's meat is so tender and it is really good, we can't help ourselves from eating it. I'm glad we tried it. If you're up for a spicy dish, I recommend their laing.

Below are just a few of their mouth watering dishes that you should try...

Chinese Pork Belly

Kaldereta

Beef Tapa

Other pastries that you must also check out:

Strawberry and Blueberry Cheesecake

 Cashew Mocha Torte

Creme Brulee

Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp is own by twin brothers Melvin and Mike Aviles.

Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp is located at Ruby St., Marfori Heights Davao City. Most of the time their place is always full so I suggest you call them at 224 5552 and have a reservation. ;)

Check out their Facebook page too, Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp.
