Weekend Getaway at D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park

May 08, 2017 0 Comments
Last week, we run out of luck while going to the beaches around Samal Island. Unfortunately, all of the resorts that we visited are fully booked! Yeah... So sad... We usually just go into the beach without booking in advance and we didn't encounter any problems so far, until last weekend... There are a lot of people that day, of course, it's Labor Day (a holiday) the next day! Silly us, we didn't check the date before going there. :(

Word of advice, check the calendar first before going to Samal Island. If it's a holiday or a day before the holiday, I suggest you check the availability first and book in advance so you can save your time and money in case that resort has no more rooms available for an overnight stay.

So, after visiting around 5 resorts around Samal Island, we went back to Davao City and went to at D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park.

Fortunately, they have one room available and we grabbed it right away... YAY! It was already 6pm when we got there, so we had our dinner first before going for a night swim... We ate at the restaurant just near the entrance going to the Wave Pool.

Our stay at D'Leonor Inland Resort was good, there are minor issues but it they've found a way to fix it...

Our kids enjoyed the waves and slides at the pool... It was really hot that day, it's a good thing they have a big man-made mushrooms that served as an umbrella in the Kiddie Pool area... By the way, here's a video that I've made where you can see and experience what's in D'Leonor Wavepool... Enjoy! :)

DFAT 2017 - Saging Repablik

April 21, 2017 0 Comments
Saging Repablik is a great place to hangout with friends and family.  They serve different kinds of food with a twist of banana in it... Their Humbananacue and Spare Ribs with Banana BBQ Sauce is a must try, the meat is so tender and tasty. And you gotta try their best-sellers too which is the Pork and Chicken Sisag  and the different flavors of Gatchips. What I really love is their Banana Walnut Torte, it's sooo delicious..

If you're fond of DIY, you can try their  "Create your own bananacue", they have a station where you can make your own banana with chocolate fondue in different kind of toppings. You can share your creations afterwards on social media with the hashtags: #createyourownbananacue, #sagingrepablik and #mysagingrepablikbananacue.

It was my first time to visit and dine at Saging Repablik and I had a great time with fellow bloggers from Manila, Cebu, General Santos and Davao during the Davao Food Appreciation Tour.

To sum up our experience at Saging Repablik, watch this video below... ;)

LINE: Disney Tsum Tsum Game

January 25, 2017 0 Comments

I've tried this app called LINE: Disney Tsum Tsum and I got so hooked up with it. The Disney Tsum Tsum plushies looks so cute and I love the Disney characters inside this addictive puzzle game.

The first Tsum Tsum that I acquired is Mickey Mouse, followed by Donald Duck and I got Princess Elsa when I opened a Premium Box.

Here's How to Play the Disney Tsum Tsum:
  • Connect 3 or more of the same Tsums to eliminate them.
  • The more Tsums you connect, the more points you’ll get!
  • Trigger off Fever Mode to rack up a whole bunch of extra points!
  • Collect Tsums and set your favorite as your MyTsum.
  • Each Tsum has a different skill. Use the one that matches your play style! Find a strategy that works for you personally!
Each Tsum Tsum has a special ability and as for me, I like Princess Ariel and Jasmine. Ariel can clear a circle of Tsum Tsum while Jasmine can clear a horizontal line of Disney Tsum Tsum. :)

In the game, you can earn coins, points, and experience. You can buy a box at the Tsum Tsum Store, you can choose between a Happiness Box which costs 10,000 or a Premium Box which costs 30,000. There's one Tsum in each box and if you get a Tsum that you already have, it's Skill Level will increase.

Hearts are necessary to play the game. Every time you play the game, one Heart is used. One Heart is recovered every 15 minutes but you can also ask for some hearts from your friends if you ran out of it.

There's a Disney Tsum Tsum Cinderella Event which ends tonight. In teh event, you will play and gather magic bottles to make dresses for Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora... If you still haven't completed it, go on and try playing each card. You will get a Prince Charming a Skill Ticket for each completed card.

I just finished completing all of the event cards...

And I got Cinderella Tsum Tsum...
 Prince Charming Tsum Tsum
And a Cinderella Event Pin!

I am now in level 17 with the 19 Tsum Tsums: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Christopher Robin, Roo, Bambi, Ariel, Elsa, Jasmine, Princess Aurora, Cinderella, and Prince Charming. :)

Are you playing this game too? Add me up, and say Hi! :) Here's my LINE QR Code:

By the way, LINE Disney Tsum Tsum is published by LINE under license from Disney. :)

Sony Xperia C4's Technical Issue - Not Turning On

January 25, 2017 0 Comments

Last night, my Sony Xperia C4's battery got drained. So, I charged it. It took a while to charge, like more than 4 hours already and the charging light is still red. So, I tried to turn it on but it won't turn on! I tried pressing the Power button for 10 seconds, hoping it will turn on afterwards but it didn't.

I remember I have the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab before and I was successful in turning my device on by Pressing the Power button and the Volume down at the same time. So, I tried doing the same procedure in my Sony Xperia C4, but still it won't turn on.

So, I searched online and I already did the tips they've shared on my device but it won't turn on. So, I let it rest for a few hours and started to press the Power button and the Volume down at the same time again and I was SO HAPPY because it finally turned ON! Yay!

I was actually worried for a while but I'm happy now that it's back to normal again... :)

Have you experience this No Power Problem with your Android devices? I hope this post helps. The procedure is applicable in most of the Android devices, because it also worked in my Samsung Tab... :)

How to Stop Facebook Messenger from Automatically Saving Images on My Android Phone

January 19, 2017 0 Comments
I recently downloaded the Facebook Messenger app on my android phone. One thing that bugs me is the photos or images that has been sent from the messenger are automatically saved in my phone's gallery. It is weird at first because, I thought it was just my daughter, tinkering on my cellphone again. But, I haven't let her touch my phone for how many days already and there are still photos from our Facebook group chats that are saved on my gallery.

Have you experienced having the same issue? It's quite annoying cause some of the images are unnecessary.

I tried checking on my phone's settings but I didn't see anything there. I tried opening my Facebook Messenger and looked at the settings. At first I was confused where the setting is, then I tried tapping this cute icon on the top right corner (see image below).

Select Photos & Media...

Then, under Save Photos, turn off the Save incoming photos to your Gallery.

And I'm done! So, this is How to Stop Facebook Messenger from Automatically Saving Images on My Android Phone. Now I don't have to keep on deleting unnecessary photos on my gallery. :)

Recycling Tin Cans as Succulent Containers

January 10, 2017 0 Comments
If you have some tin cans on your home, you can use them as plant containers. We have a few tin cans from the luncheon meats that we bought at the grocery. So, I tried to recycle it. It's actually my first time to recycle a tin can and used it on my succulent plant. It turned out good and I am loving it!
You can use it as a table centerpiece or anywhere in your home or office, as long as it can get enough sunlight. It's also a great way to give as a gift to a succulent lover or use it as giveaways for parties or any events.

It was just easy doing this DIY recycled tin cans. If you already have the tin cans, the first thing you should do is remove the label, wash and clean it and let it dry.

When it's already dry, you can start making a few holes at the bottom of the tin cans. I used a hammer and nail on my recycled tin can.

Once it's done, you can start putting some little stones at the bottom for drainage. Then you can start adding the soil and your chosen succulents in it. You can also add some stones on the top soil as decorations. :)

You can make this DIY containers for any plants, I am so into cactus and succulents that's why I choose it on this container. If you are into cactus and succulents too and you live in Davao, you can join our group in Facebook which is Cactus and Succulents Davao and Cactus and Succulents Mindanao. :)

I just can't stop looking at these beautiful items that I found online and wanted to share this to everyone, especially those who loves Cactus and Succulents. If you're a cactus and succulent lover, like me, you know what I mean... These cactus and succulents items are really cute and it's good for home decorations, just like this Cactus Candles. Aren't they cute?

This LED Cactus Light is also cute, I'd love to have one of these in my room... Such a cutie cactus night lamp, not just for kids but for adults too... ;)

These cactus throw pillows are great addition to your sofa, i just love it's cute designs...
